Without doubt guys, new to TSF, just signed up today as it were. I've been fiddling close to with my PC for quite a while now (I built it myself a few years back) and anytime I hit a virus problem I simply format as I have 2 harddrives and I generally save everything I should the other one, and everything else We've on my C drive is just useless anyways. Recently I had recently been noticing major CPU usage problems in nearly every program. For example, whenever I was burning up a CD in iTunes, or even scrolling through my songs, or when I did anything in a very program other than and will idle (except for iTunes which plays music not a problem and Internet Explorer) the CPU usage percentage would shoot up into the 90100% collection. Obviously, very frustrating if a person spent a pretty any amount of money putting a 1024MB of ram within the computer and getting the best processor, and having it work just the summer years no problem with all the occasional formats. So I figured it turned out just a virus problem and after one or two attempts to clean this, I decided it was probably time to me to format my computer system as my iTunes tunes store was also allowing me errors and these kinds of. I formatted both harddisks this time though, as I was very annoyed with having to move between the two. I started everything copy, reinstalled windows XP, video card software, the whole bit, but to my dismay, immediately after I open a plan my CPU usage shoots save. I spent a amount of time scanning my computer for a second time, using memory boosting merchandise, using msconfig, etc., but after a while I recently decided it would probably be easier to return on to this forum and get if anyone knew what was taking place ,. I'm thinking it may be an actual memory appliance problem and I may must replace one of the particular sticks, but any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Coach.
